If you are getting tattooed, pierced, or having jewelry inserted into a piercing you must provide proof of age and identification, this includes minors.

Policy

TATTOO POLICY

It is a MN state law that you must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo. We do not tattoo minors. All tattoo clients require a state or government issued ID. As well as require a completed consent and health disclosure form (given at time of appointment). 

BODY PIERCING POLICY

All body piercing clients over the age of 18 require a state or government issued ID as well as require a completed consent and health disclosure form (given at time of appointment). 

Minor Documentation Policy
 

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and the parent or guardian must stay present for the duration of the appointment.

All parents and guardians are required to have a state or government issued ID as well as complete a consent and health disclosure form (given at time of appointment) for said minor.

Children Ages 4-15 - Require a Birth Certificate at time of appointment, the legal guardians FIRST and LAST name must be on the birth certificate IF it is not or your name has changed please bring legal documents accordingly. (Marriage certificate, Adoption papers, Divorce papers, ect.)

* If you have a Smile card please bring this as well (ID card given with school pictures)

*This age also requires a State of Government issued ID.

Minor Piercing Policy 

Zion offers earlobe piercings to children ages 4 and up. 

Earlobes ages 4-7 require a pre-piercing consultation. During this complimentary appointment we will walk through the process, and make sure that the child is ready for and wants the piercing. For more about this process see the Children's Earlobe tab.

Earlobes ages 8 & Up any child who is absolutely ready for this piercing can book this appointment without a consultations, however if the child is hesitant or anxious please book the pre piercing consultation. We pierce earlobes only for any age under 13.

Ages 13-16 - Aside from earlobe piercings Zion also offers most Ear Cartilage Piercings, and Nostril piercings to this age group providing proper Identification. 

Ages 16 -17 - Zion offers all previously listed piercings as well as Septum, Lips navels, and eyebrows. A pre-piercing consultation is strongly suggested for navels piercings. 

Return Policy

JEWELRY SALES ARE FINAL with the exception of jewelry that is defective and some gifts (discussed below).

We guarantee all Surgical Steel, Niobium, Titanium, and Gold jewelry against manufacturers defects for 1 year, so be sure to hang on to your receipt! Defective jewelry will be repaired or replaced.

IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A GIFT and are unsure of the size or style, please ask us to seal the jewelry in a clear pouch. In this case, the jewelry may be exchanged as long as the pouch is unopened.

ALL RETURNS OR EXCHANGES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RECEIPT!

Appointment Cancellation Policy 

TATTOO- Tattoos require a ONE WEEK in advance notice, if you have to cancel within a weeks notice you will forfeit your deposit and will be required to place another to book another appointment. With this being said Please don't come in if you're sick.

PIERCING - Piercings require a 24 hour notice, please call ASAP if you need to reschedule your appointment. 

COVID-19

Zion Tattooing & Piercing has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, infection from COVID-19 can happen anywhere and no business can guarantee or completely prevent someone from becoming infected. Further, being in any business could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.

Please stay home if you are presenting any of the symptoms of COVID-19 including;

● dry cough

● runny nose

● sore throat

● shortness of breath

● loss of sense of taste or smell

  • fever - temperature: 100.4  degrees or higher.

 

Please let us know if you have been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or

anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
